Cynosure has launched Potenza, the world's first 4-mode microneedling system, in Australia.
Hailed as "the new standard in microneedling", the FDA-approvedPotenza makes all the much-loved benefits of in-clinic microneedling available to everyone – on all parts of their face and body
Like most RF microneedling devices, the Potenza uses ultrafine needles and radiofrequency energy to trigger the regeneration of collagen and elastin, BUT unlike them, the Potenza's four treatment modes (Monopolar, Bipolar, 1 MHz and 2 MHz) enable clinicians to customise treatments for a client's unique skin needs.
This means that the device can be used to not only treat almost everyone, but to also deliver the best possible treatment, and therefore best possible results, for all the skin concerns that microneedling targets, including:
Cynosure Australia Potenza Product Specialist Christian Bell believes that the Potenza "offers a new level of customisation to the RF Microneedling category and is the new standard in microneedling".
"The Potenza makes all the much-loved benefits of in-clinic microneedling available to everyone – on all parts of their face and body," he says.
"Clinicians can personalise microneedling treatments for every single client that walks through their doors as they can use it on all skin types at any time of the year."
The Potenza's monopolar RF mode delivers energy across a large area of tissue for deep heating and skin tightening through soft tissue coagulation while the bipolar RF mode offers more concentrated delivery of energy to treat superficial tissue.
According to Christian, this ability to deliver both shallow and deep treatments, combined with the device's two distinct handpieces and nine different needle tips, give clinicians "unprecedented flexibility to personalise treatments for exceptional outcomes".
