Hands up if you are a resident of Narellan or its surrounding suburbs. Well, I have just found a little hidden gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy shopping centres. It’s called Mibu Medispa (pronounced ‘my boo’) and it offers a huge range of services to cover both men and women. We had the pleasure of being invited to join a Mother’s Day breakfast, that was raising money and awareness for breast cancer through Pink ribbon. I could see that much time and energy had gone into the preparation of the day. No different to the time and energy put into setting up such an amazing clinic.
Mibu had organised many gifts to raffle from local businesses supporting the breast cancer initiative. There was live music playing at the front with amazing food set up to kick off the morning tea. All the attendees could buy raffle tickets to get extra chances to win all the impressive gifts that had been donated for this worthwhile cause. There were many heartfelt speeches around pink ribbon day and how cancer has touched peoples lives. There are not too many people that don’t have a story around cancer and someone they have lost. Breast screen NSW were kind enough to hand out little packs, full of information and goodies, promoting that prevention is far better than the cure. I believe Mibu Medispa raised just under $2000. Well done.
TrustedSurgeons was not only there to support pink ribbon but also to see what the Mibu Medispa had to offer. Having visited many clinics across Australia, I can tell you, I was well impressed. The attention to detail and thought that has gone into developing the Medispa was mind blowing. The décor, the layout, the choice, and the ever-smiling staff all came from the hearts and minds of Violeta and Steven. These 2 are a force to be reckoned with and you will understand why when you see the Medispa and all the types of treatments available. There are too many to list but some of the standouts are:
·Infrared sauna (who doesn’t love spending time in a sauna)
·Cryosauna (helps with aches and pains and reducing healing times)
·VenusVersa and Venus Legacy (Great machines – used both myself and they are great devices that get results – so many benefits like skin tightening. Too many to list but the friendly staff can let you know)
·Precision Teeth Whitening (speaks for itself)
·Anti-wrinkle and filler injections (one of the fastest growing markets in Australia)
·Medical LED light therapy (Great for your skin and reducing healing times)
·And finally, a Vichy shower, for those that have not had the benefit of experiencing one of these, you need to add it to your bucket list. I won’t say any more on this other than you must experience it.
Before we left, I quickly booked in to experience cryotherapy, as this was something I had never experienced before and had heard lots of good things about it (like it helps you lose weight – winning). Kim, you will recognise her when you go in, she’s the one with the biggest most friendly smile, helped me with my treatment. The set up is quite futuristic. Once you undress and robe up (including special mits and socks), its time to step into the chamber. Its cold to start with but you ain’t seen nothing yet. As the chamber closes the temperature drops further and for the next 3 minutes you’re at minus 120 degrees. Some people can’t do the full treatment and as a result, the treatment is tailored to the individual. I felt quite good following the treatment and it is something I will do again. I believe this would do wonders for those with injuries or pain.
It was sad to leave the clinic and the wonderful environment that has been set up. The customer service is second to none and there is a sense of family whilst you are there. More reason to visit again and pick the next treatment. Possibly something using the Venus equipment, I have always enjoyed and received visible results from their devices. As people start to find out about this little gem, I dare say its going to get quite busy, so book in early so you don’t miss out. If you want to know more, head over to www.mibu.com.au or give the clinic a call on 02 4622 1221.
