BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT

A Brazilian butt lift, also known as buttock augmentation surgery, makes use of fat grafting, implants or both to increase the size of the buttocks area. The procedure increases roundness, size and fullness of the buttocks, improved body balance increased self-confidence and positive sense of self body image.

Brazilian Butt lift procedure takes up to three hours to complete, however it is performed on a day surgery basis, generally. The surgery is conducted through implants, and/or through transferring fat. Sometimes a combination of both these options will be administered to achieve optimum results. The implants are inserted through an incision in the crease of the buttocks and thighs.

Fat transfer may also be used to move fat from one part of the body to the buttocks. Liposuction removes the fat, then it is purified and inserted into the buttocks. This is an involved procedure as the surgeon inserts the fat in droplets to ensure each fat cell has a good supply of blood.

Following the surgery, the patient will feel discomfort as well as swelling and bruising in the buttocks area. The swelling and bruising will gradually fade within the two weeks following the surgery. The stitches remain in for ten days following the surgery to ensure the implants do not move throughout the healing process.

The results will immediately be evident following the surgery. Swelling and incision lines will be visible, but over time they will fade away.
