I had a bilateral breast reconstruction in June this year at the same time as having a double mastectomy. This was my first ever surgical experience at the age of 68 and I didn’t know what to expect. Initially in January when I was diagnosed with cancer in my left breast and decided that a double mastectomy was the only option I wanted, I was very unsure if I wanted to go ahead with a reconstruction. My surgeon referred me to Shagun so I could investigate my options, I was having chemo first so had time to make a decision. My first visit to see Shagun was really a fishing expedition to explore my options and see how I felt after that. From the very first visit, when I explained this to Shagun, he was reassuring, caring and explained all the options in great detail. Never at any time did he try to influence my decision, was open to discussion and never dismissed any of my endless questions. Once I decided to go ahead we met again right in the middle of the COVID restrictions. At that time reconstruction was not on the list of ops considered necessary but happily for me, Shagun had already consulted with my oncologist and oncolology surgeon and they were happy for surgery to wait till I could have both surgeries at the same time. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. There are not enough words to describe how positive this experience has been for me. Dr Aggarwal and his team were caring, reassuring thoughtful during the whole pre and post operative process and have made the journey easier than I ever expected it would be. I am proud to have my “noobies” despite telling him on occasion I didn’t care what they looked like, deep down I really think I did care. They look great, feel normal and now I feel very normal again as well.
When you embark on a journey that is scary and the future is not certain, you need Doctors who are very skilled not only with a knife but also can talk to you, listen to you ,and make sure you are well looked after both medically and mentally. Dr Aggarwal and his team easily fulfill this criteria and I will happily recommend him to anyone who may find themselves in my shoes

From my first consultation with Dr Aggarwal, I knew I was in good hands.
He has such a caring & gentle manner and after he explained the procedure thoroughly I felt completely relaxed.
I had a basal cell carcinoma removed in a very prominent position on my face and I am so pleased with the result.
After 4 months barely a scar as so cleverly concealed in the Nasolabial fold or smile line
I hardly ever wear make-up and never feel the need for concealer when I go out.
I also had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my lower leg and looked like I required a skin graft but Dr Aggarwal is so skilled that he managed to do a large flap which meant I could get back on my feet much earlier.
His stitching technique is brilliant – such delicate needlework
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him”

You can feel really confident allowing Shagun to provide advice prior to any procedure you might have with him. He gave me a full explanation of the options available for my face surgery and what the various outcomes would be. The surgery and recovery went very smoothly and the wound healed perfectly. I would strongly recommend Shagun Aggarwal and will certainly go to him again should I need to in the future.

Had sonic lipo done on "buffalo hump" last year. Prior the procedure, Dr Aggarwal patiently explained the procedure and expected outcome. Due to the nature of my hump, the removal was done conservatively to avoid any un-desirable complication. Happy with the outcome and I no longer looking like buffalo. If the hump ever come back again, I would without hesitation go see Dr. Aggarwal.

Dr Aggarwal did a fantastic job with my surgery, it's even better than I had hoped for- he is very skilled! His manner was caring, kind, and sensitive. He patiently listened to my concerns and questions, and made me feel considered and valued as a person, rather than just a patient or medical project. He helped me feel comforted and reassured during a time when I was otherwise feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable. I am so thankful for the brilliant work he has done, and for the positive experience of having him as my doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Aggarwal by my Dermatologist when I unexpectedly required an urgent full thickness skin graft for a SCC. The graft was on my nose making it a significant exercise of trust in the plastic surgeon. I can say that Shagun was an excellent Specialist in discussing my options and helping me understand what needed to be done. His concern for his patients is evident. He is meticulous in his clinical skills as a surgeon. His followup care has been thorough with scar management. I was fortunate to be treated by Dr. Aggarwal. Many thanks to him....
